- September 14 — WCHL team registration closes
- September 19 — 12U and 14U preseason practices begin
- October 4 — 8U and 10U preseason skates begin; details coming soon
- October 21 — Mile High Mites registration deadline
- October 23–29 — Evaluations in Eagle and Glenwood
- October 27 & 29 — 8U opening-week practices, 5:00–6:00 PM
- October 30 — Girls-Only Try Hockey for Free
- October 31 — Youth Coed Try Hockey for Free
- November 2 — Regular practices begin at the Glenwood Springs rink
The 12U and 14U seasons begin September 19 with preseason practices in Eagle.
Formal evaluations will not take place until the Glenwood Springs rink opens. Players interested in competing at the 12U A level are expected to participate in the Fall Faceoff tournament in Aspen, October 15–18. Please express your interest by emailing jpetersen@gsyha.org.
The 14U preseason practices will use shared ice on September 19, October 3 and October 11. Grand Junction players are encouraged to attend, and we plan to coordinate additional joint skates.
The first 14U tournament will be the Vail Sportsmanship Tournament over Halloween weekend.
