Is your athlete new to hockey and under 9 years old with one year or less of hockey experience?
There are two great options to register for hockey with GSYHA next season. Do you have equipment?
If the answer is "No" we recommend registering through our partners with the Avalanche Learn to Play program, Mile High Mites, where equipment is provided along with 6 hours of instructional ice time:

SPECIAL EVENT!
Grizzly players may have the opportunity to participate in an intermission skate at Ball Arena. Stay tuned during the season for details on how to get your player on the roster!

Volunteering
One change you will notice this season is that each family is required to complete at least 10 volunteer hours or pay a $250 volunteer buyout fee.
Volunteer hours may be completed by a parent or player through association-wide opportunities, such as fundraising events like Strawberry Days, or through approved team-specific roles such as coaching or team manager.
Please note that certain game-day duties are essential to the team's operation and do not count toward the 10 required volunteer hours. These include responsibilities such as working the penalty box, running the scoresheet, clock, or other required game-day duties. Because these roles are necessary for games to take place, they are not eligible for the volunteer buyout.
Game-day duties will be assigned on a rotating basis so responsibilities are shared fairly among families. If you are unable to fulfill your assigned duty for a game or weekend, you are responsible for finding a replacement.
