Welcome 8U I.P., Mite, and Mile High Mites Families!!

We are very excited to start our 8U programming next week!!

To prepare for this, we want to share some very important association & facility protocols.

We need to adhere to all covid safety protocols (masks, social distancing, etc.).

Our current COVID protocols are available below for you to review.

• There are no spectators allowed in the building at any time, only players are allowed into the facility.

• Players need to be at the rink 15 minutes before their allotted ice time to check in.
  • Families need to complete a quick Covid screen (smartphone or smart device required), along with a temp check done by our volunteers.
  • Players need to enter the building fully dressed, we have placed benches in front of the building to put skates on.
    • Temp checks will be performed on the neck near the carotid artery, helmets should be fully snapped/buckled in place.
    • Although we have laid rubber mats in front of the building, we also recommend players wear skate guards to protect their skates from any concrete.
    • Players will not be allowed to bring their bags into the facility, only the hockey gear they wear and their stick.

** IMPORTANT ** 
Due to our facility Covid policies, we will need to adjust our schedules to regulate traffic flow in and out of the facility.

• 8U IP players start check in at 3:45p and can enter the building until 3:55pm.
  • 8U IP players will leave the building at 4:35p

• 8U Mile High Mite players start check in at 4:00, and enter the building until 4:10pm.
  • 8U Mile High Mite players will leave the building at 5:00p

• 8U Mite players start check in at 4:20pm, and can enter the building until 4:30pm.
  • 8U Mite players will leave the building at 5:25

Please know it is imperative we abide by this schedule!!

We appreciate your understanding, we are very grateful we even have this opportunity for our players.

Finally, we will need volunteers to help out at each practice. This includes persons at the check-in table to assist with temp checks, QR code assistance, and potentially parents to help with skate tying, equipment needs, etc. We have learned a lot this past week with our travel programming, juggling 60+ players in and out of our facility will be a challenge, but one I know we can get through with your help!!

FYI, the first few days of 8U programming, we will have travel parents already familiar with the process at the facility to help assist & train 8U volunteers.

Know you are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts on any given day, all three shifts would run from 3:45p - 4:35p.
