Glenwood Springs Youth Hockey Association, sanctioned by Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) and USA Hockey (USAH) provides a youth hockey experience for boys and girls from the Roaring Fork Valley & Grand Valley, from Aspen to Grand Junction, and beyond.

For over two decades, GSYHA has followed the lead of USA Hockey and their implementation of the American Development Model (ADM), which emphasizes age appropriate training and skill development.  Players in Grizzly Hockey are provided the proper age appropriate skill development based upon a long-term approach to athletic development.

Grizzly Hockey covers all travel expenses for our coaching staff including; mileage, lodging, and food, although all GSYHA coaches are considered volunteers. Travel teams practice 2-3 days per week at various times in the mornings and evenings, and travel periodically on weekends for games throughout the beautiful state of Colorado.
